The relay temperature with self-reset RT-1 are intended to operate as built-in elements inside thermal and other annunciators, including combined fire alarms, as well as for operation in electrical products for maintenance of temperature and temperature protection. 

Operating principle

Material with «shape memory», manufactured using special technology, is used as the sensing element in the relay. When the environment temperature increases (up to the relay operation temperature), the sensing element (1) changes its form and affects the contact spring (2) resulting in opening (closure) of contacts. When the environment temperature decreases, relay contacts reset.
